Northern Hot Tubs are made for Canada. They have great insulation and energy efficiency. Yes, the heater will not work with the jets on high. This is the case with all plug-and-play hot tubs. The misconception is that you will sit in the hot tub with the jets on high for hours, and the water will cool. The truth is the massage jets are typically used for 10 minutes and then turned off. In very cold weather, if you can avoid using the jets on high speed for a long time, you will enjoy warm, crisp water. This way, you won’t have to worry about your plug-and-play hot tub getting cold.
